This insurance covers up to $1 billion USD against losses caused by declared or undeclared war, hostile actions by national or international forces, insurrection and civil war, terrorism, and sabotage. It also protects against acts of expropriation and other forms of illegal interference by the host government that may deprive investors of their fundamental rights in a project.
